[ All the edges of the roses are extremely sharp, drawing blood before you're even aware you've been cut.
As your blood soaks into the soil, another rose bush starts to grow from the spot. This bush is not glass, but normal growing plant, and it entwines itself around the nearest glass rose bush, attempting to choke it. Somehow, the new roses are not damaged by the glass.
As its growth slows, the glass rose bush cracks and begins to crumble, and the new bush begins to flower, vivid Heliodor roses blossoming and releasing strong but not overpowering smell of roses undercut with copper. ]
You know, I'm gonna have to ask her what's her deal with blood. [Undoing his bandages, because might as well keep the blood concentrated on one arm anyway.]
[Pulling out his knife and looking for where the glass rose wall is thinnest because let's not bleed out too much, okay.]
[ It doesn't take much, at least, and more rose bushes spring up, choking the glass roses and replacing them with vibrant, living ones.
After choking them, the living bushes part, seemingly moving through the soil like water, opening a little path for May to step out of the circle with a sigh of relief ]

Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
So, any reason you're surrounding by glass roses?
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[ She stands and presses a hand to the air above the roses. It looks like she's pressing a hand to glass ]
But they've got me well and truly stuck, and no mistake.
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
That would be telling!
[ Karen huffs ]
Aunt May, honestly. We can't say. There's... limits, on what we're allowed to tell you. We couldn't say more than that even if we wanted to.
[ May nods ]
But I will say, live roses are better than glass ones any day.
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[Paaaaaause.]
[Let's do a testing thing.]
[Gonna cast a heal on a glass rose, because that's life energy into a glass thing, and heart physics, doesn't hurt to try.]
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
So, how would you make glass roses into living ones? [Looking at Karen.]
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
They could be removed, though.

Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[Siiiigh and rubs his face.]
Would it help Lucky?
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[ May waves a little ]
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[Right.]
[Okay. Okay, he can do this, it...it doesn't have to be TERRIBLE.]
How can I remove them?
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[Well, let's try touching one first.]

[Jiiiii.]

Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[ Thankfully, it's thin all the way around, you can probably get by with bleeding a bit over three or four bushes right where you are ]
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
Good to know.
[And then he's cutting the back of his hand again and dripping blood in this heart again. '-']
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses

Well, that was fun, right?
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
Oh yeah. Nothing like a good bloodletting.
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
[ she shrugs ]
But at least I'm free to wander around and do my thing now. The roses'll keep growing now that they've got roots down.
Re: The Garden of Glass Roses
And that's good, right?
