[ When he reaches her, he refuses his hand and instead starts using his fingers to draw in the space above her, the script lighting up bright green, as he reaches toward the wound.]

Ahh, that's because this one's borrowed. From a friend actually.

[ Once he touches the wound, he shouts out: ]

Heal!

[ A flurry of shimmering green leaves appear above the injury and trickle down to it, carrying with them a convalescing energy. ]

[ As the wounds close, she lets out a quiet sigh, as if a long-carried pain has finally been lifted ]

You're one of her friends, I guess. I'm still not supposed to let you up.

[ She seems to perk up a bit, hearing that she'd been talked about ]

Yeah, well. Technically you're still not supposed to go up.

[ She looks a little like she might be warming up to the idea of bending the rules, though ]

[ And then his gaze drops, as he remembers the last time he heard lucky talk about Dare...]

Ahh, so that's what happened...

But I guess teammates don't really count as "anybody", do they?

[ she shrugs ]

You and Miss Dream could go up if you wanted. I guess.

[ The staircase is dark and steep, and when you get to the top, you're faced with a poorly-lit hallway. On the right-hand side of the hallway are three identical, unmarked doors, and on the left is one door - identical to the others but for a battered plaque that says "Office". ]
