[He's going to collect all the journal pages, putting them with the journal on the hearth. Once all the paper is recovered safely from the fire, he'll pull out his own journal, pull out some blank pages from the back, and put them in the fire.]
[ The leather of the journal has been dyed amethyst-purple, and seems to be worn from use. Flipping open the journal reveals that a number of pages have been torn out throughout the front pages, clearly used as kindling for the unlit fire. The remaining pages each have a single name written on them in an unsteady hand:
[He hums to himself. He then gathers the pages reaches into his pockets for a needle and spare leather string. Because of course he carries all sorts of tools with him like a loser.]
[He's gonna sew these pages back into the journal.]
[ The simple canvas bag is packed full. As you unpack it, you find a set of Amethyst's Wonderland uniforms, a set of their winter Camelot uniforms, and a hand-knit scarf in amethyst-purple. ]
[ The chest smells strongly of wood, and is mostly empty. An inner shelf holds a stuffed duck that looks like it’s been well-loved, a glass vial of water with an amethyst ribbon, a sheet of gold star stickers (with five remaining), and a little bag of 5 cookies. ]
[He pulls out his notebook and sits down right there, and starts drawing.]
[It'll be some minutes before he finishes. Simple sketches of them as children together and them now. And writing. "We'll be friends forever, no matter how far apart we are."]
[He'll then fold it up and put it under the duckling.]
